It's simple: choose your plan level (Free, Basic, or Premium), answer a short questionnaire about your garden space, and we'll generate a personalized PDF plan based on your USDA hardiness zone, frost dates, sun exposure, and what you want to grow. The plan is emailed directly to you.

The Free plan gives you a starter plant list and basic planting dates. The Basic plan ($4.99) adds a detailed planting calendar, plant spacing guidance, and a shopping list. The Premium plan ($9.99) includes everything in Basic plus companion planting, succession planting, pest management, soil recommendations, and a weekly care worksheet.

When you enter your zip code, we automatically look up your USDA hardiness zone and average frost dates. This tells us your growing season length and which plants thrive in your climate. Everything in your plan is tailored to your specific location.

Absolutely! SowGreat was designed with beginners in mind. Our questionnaire uses plain language, and you can always choose "I'm not sure" — we'll pick smart defaults for you. The Free plan is a great way to get started with zero risk.

Your personalized SowGreat Plan PDF is typically generated and emailed to you within a few minutes of completing the questionnaire and payment (if applicable).

Yes! Your answers are automatically saved as you go. If you close your browser or navigate away, your progress will be waiting for you when you return.

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. The Free plan requires no payment at all.

We don't store your personal data on our servers. Payment is handled securely through Stripe, and your plan is delivered via email. We only use your questionnaire answers to generate your plan.
